Deep Generative Models for High-Resolution Synthetic Retinal Image Generation of AMD

This study assesses the ability of retinal specialists to distinguish real from synthetic retinal fundus images, assess gradability, and diagnose age-related macular degeneration (AMD) using real images from the Age-Related Eye Disease Study and synthetic images generated therefrom.
